Si svolge a Mantova la mostra: "Padiglione Italia, alla 54. Esposizione Internazionale d'Arte della Biennale di Venezia per il 150° dell'Unità d'Italia", a cura di Vittorio Sgarbi. L'evento è in programma dal 13 luglio al 21 settembre a Palazzo Te. Oltre 60 artisti selezionati (pittura, fotografia, scultura, installazioni) esporranno le opere nelle Fruttiere e nell'Ala Napoleonica.

Un trittico di Chiara Belloni è presente al padiglione di Mantova.

Secondo posto e un premio di 10.000 Euro nella competizione per la creazione della nuova immagine coordinata Dolomiti-Unesco. I partecipanti totali erano 400.

In May 2008 I had the honour of being contacted to take part in the IF DESIGN AWARD of 2008. The jury was composed of 15 experts of design from all over the world, the categories of the contest were packging, website, architecture and more. I was the judge for screen and digital design.

Sono lieto di comunicarvi il conseguimento del secondo posto e la vincita di 10.000 Euro, nel concorso per la creazione del logo "Dolomiti-Unesco".
I partecipanti totali erano oltre 400. La premiazione si è svolta Venerdì 5 Novembre presso il Comune di Belluno.

I am pleased to announce the award of second place and I got also a prize of 10,000 Euro in the competition for the creation of the logo "Dolomiti-Unesco.
The participants were over 400. The award ceremony was friday 5 November at the town of Belluno.

The stunning elegance of Jeff Nishinaka's paper art calls for a new definition of paper. His meticulous sculptural 3D work appears to have been created from marble or extremely fine sand or vanilla ice cream or thick foam -- definitely of something other than "just" paper. The Los Angeles-born artist works mainly with white, which makes the exquisite play of light and shadow a large part of the appeal of his work.
